When: Meet at the Tumbleweed docks at 9:30 AM. We will depart for the locks promptly at 10AM and expect to return by 3PM

Bring a box lunch. We will raft-up down river after locking through.

Lock Through Recommended Items

2 Lines at least 1 ½ times the length of your boat

Sharp knife (used to quickly cut the line in case the floating bollards get stuck)

At least 2 of the biggest fenders you have (a 6 diameter fender is not big)

Trash-bags to protect your fenders from the slimy dock walls (keeps fenders free of dirt/slime. The trash-bags can be peeled off, inside-out and discarded after use)

VHF Radio (Fixed mount or hand-held)

Boathook

Comfortable PFD's for all aboard

Deck shoes (bare feet are too slippery to be safe when moving about quickly on deck surfaces)

Enough fuel for the day

Plenty of water or fluids (it will be hot and there is usually very little air movement in dock chambers)
