Seamanship, Lead Inst.
There are many active members of LSPS who have never enrolled in any of our advance member classes. When you joined USPS you will remember there were three sides to the logo that symbolizes the USPS mission. Public Service, Fraternal Boating Club, and Self Education. Obviously some parts of the mission are more appealing than others to individual members, but each of us has some obligation to participate and support all phases of USPS.
We will be holding a Seamanship class soon. It is
the first of the five advanced member courses and covers those phases of
boating that every member should know.
David Robertson is the
leader of this class. The teaching is shared by
David, Kim Fisher, Allen Roles,
Joe Venhoff, John Kiesel, and perhaps others.
We have the instructors, we need
students.
Please let e-mail
robertson.david @insightbb.com
to reserve a place in the next Seamanship class beginning in June. Time
and place to be determined based on your responses.
Respond now, we must order books
30 days in advance.
